The Resistance

After many years of reading I decided I was going to write a book of my own. It took me only five years and still it isn't perfect but it was ready to publish. I have spent many months sending my story to family and friends getting their approvals, I then sent to many publishers. The publishers all told me they couldn't take on my story because I wasn't an established author. How could I become an established author if no one will publish me? I finally found a publisher who wanted to take on my story, however it didn't get to go through. So I decided to figure out how to publish myself.

What a nightmare! Who do I trust with my work, who can I get to help me? Then I found Amazon has an amazing way to help me publish myself, step by step instructions! So I started small, working with the interior first then the cover. I tried to make things as professional as I could, as I have said it's not perfect, but as first run goes it will be okay. Many writers call their creations their life's work. I don't think I would call my story a life's work, but I would say it took a lot of hard work, writing and rewriting my stories. I would call it dedication to my favorite part of me, my imagination! I have always had some strange imagination and wanted nothing more than to share with everyone my wild imagination.
