The Resistance

When there is a death in the family, it seems all life stops. You remember all the good and all the bad, you think of the memories that make you the happiest and you think of the empty future without them.

My grandma really supported my writing, she was even a member on this page, the first member on this page! I will miss her so much, it's hard thinking she isn't here anymore; but I'm glad she is in a better place. I am thankful that my son, did get to meet her and see her even if it was just for a short time.  He loves his GG and talks about her a lot! 

I know that just about every one has had at least one member of their family taken by Cancer, so you know how I feel right now. I just wish more research would go into finding this cure or finding some way to help the people with cancer to fight it in a better way. It's hard to think that it wasn't once, it was multiple times that my grandma had cancer.  

Be thankful for the days you had, I love ya Grandma
