Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with the bad or good ones?

I love getting reviews, good or bad! The good ones are easy to take, they make me feel like someone enjoyed my story! The bad ones, well you are going to get them no matter what; I do my best to take what they said in a constructive way. If they say 'oh this story just stunk' I will ignore those comments. If they are telling me a way to fix something, I'm going to be jumping on what they say and do my best to make the story better. For example, I got a review from a neighbor telling me my book has huge mistakes on spelling or grammar. That right there does not hurt my feelings, those mistakes means I missed a lot on my editing process and that needs to be corrected. Those bad comments are what makes my book better!

I have had many publishing companies tell me that my book won't make it in the big times, and that is okay with me; I love sharing my story with people. That is why each time the Amazon Kindle allows me to do a free book, I do it and I tell everyone 'Grab your free copy!' it helps move my book up on the Amazon top lists but it also gets people far away a copy of my book that might not be able to pay for the book. I get really nervous when I do the book tour, reviews are part of the package and that comes with good and bad. I always want the good but the bad is what is going to make me a better writer.
